Remote Support

Before Following any of these instructions please Call Mosaic IT Office on 1300 667 242
to ensure one of our technicians is ready and able to connect to your remote session

For Windows XP Users:

Download mit.exe

1.    Select mit.exe

2.    A. In most cases you can just select “Run”

B. In cases where errors may appear select “Save” and save the program to your desktop. You may then proceed to double-click on the blue MIT icon to start the program

3.    You will then be prompted to confirm you want to run this program. Select “Run”

4.    You will now see the blue Mosaic IT Support window. You will have been notified over the phone which connection you will activate.
To initiate your session simply double click on the designated connection in the list on the left hand-side of the window.
e.g.
IT Support (Technician 1)

 

 For Apple Mac Users:

Download mitmac.zip

1.    Download MitMac.zip -> becomes OSXvnc

2.    Run OSXvnc – When prompted Select Open

3.    Click “Connect to client”

4.    Server must be “mail.mosaicit.com.au”

5.    Port number should be:

a.    5500 – David

b.    5510 – Steven

6.    Computer Name can be left as is

7.    Click “Start Server”
